Dr May Ching Soh

Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, NZ

Dr. May Ching Soh is a rheumatologist and obstetric physician at Middlemore - largest maternity centre servicing the most deprived area in New Zealand. Her  fellowship was with Professor Catherine Nelson-Piercy before moving to Imperial College and the John Radcliffe in Oxford for her early consultant jobs, then returning to New Zealand. She would love to have all rheumatologists to learn about pregnancy so that better care can be provided for those planning and embarking on pregnancy.  Her research interests are wide ranging but her PhD was on  how pregnancy can affect long term cardiovascular outcomes in those with SLE.
